Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all services provided by DSW Specialised Courier Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By booking or using our services, customers agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Service Bookings
Bookings for courier services may be made via phone, email, website enquiry, or other agreed communication channels.
A booking is considered confirmed once the service has been agreed and accepted by DSW Specialised Courier Ltd.
2. Cancellation Before Dispatch
If a booking is cancelled before the courier has been dispatched, no cancellation charge will normally apply.
However, where significant preparation or scheduling has already taken place, DSW Specialised Courier Ltd reserves the right to apply a reasonable administration fee.
3. Cancellation After Dispatch
If a booking is cancelled after the courier has been dispatched but before collection, a cancellation charge may apply to cover travel time and operational costs.
This charge will be based on the distance already travelled or time spent on the job.
4. Cancellation After Collection
Once goods have been collected, the full delivery charge may apply if the service is cancelled.
Where goods must be returned to the collection point or redirected to another location, additional charges may apply.
5. Failed Collection or Delivery
Additional charges may apply where a collection or delivery cannot be completed due to:
• Incorrect address information
• The sender or recipient being unavailable
• Restricted site access
• Items not being ready for collection
Where re-delivery or return transport is required, further charges may apply.
6. Service Issues
If a delivery cannot be completed due to circumstances within the control of DSW Specialised Courier Ltd, we will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue and complete the service.
Where a service failure occurs that is directly attributable to DSW Specialised Courier Ltd, a partial or full refund may be considered at our discretion.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will normally be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider but are typically completed within 5–10 working days.
8. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not normally be issued where:
• Delays are caused by traffic, weather, or road conditions
• Incorrect information is provided by the customer
• The consignment is not properly packaged
• Access restrictions prevent delivery
